Yes, its been a long time, but here is a new post. I’ve been putting in a lot of time into working on some php programming projects and then with the arrival of our new daughter Madison last month, this site has been neglected more so than in the past.
The biggest portion of this update is a ton of new pics that were added to the gallery. No, I don’t just put new photos on Facebook

Technobabble
By Jason | November 2, 2009
With the fall weather starting to set in, its common to find your mindset shifting to indoor projects and activities, myself included. Being the geek that I am, my winter projects of course include various techie related items, along with the stereotypical winter mindset of working on my model railroad. (Yes, in case you didn’t know, I really am that much of a geek.)
On the techie side on of my biggest projects will be to continue pushing and updating Technobabble, a site I’ve been working on for a while now to make using gadgets and technologies easier for the world. If you haven’t yet checked out Technobabble, here’s what you’re missing:
- Tips on setting up a wireless network in your home.
- Easy ways to manage your music collection on your PC.
- Recommendations for free software alternatives to use in place of the much more costly commercial versions of things like Microsoft Office.
- COMING SOON: Setting up and using Windows Home Server as a central platform in your home for secure data backups, sharing media and other items.
As you can see, Technobabble, has a lot to offer, or at least I hope it does, to make your life easier, with more articles planned to come soon! Check it out!

Emma is 2!
By Jason | January 16, 2009
Happy Birthday to our Baby Love today, she turns the big 2!
If there is any example of perfection, it is in the beautiful smile of our big girl. It is so hard to believe that she is two already. Of course, like most other kids her age, she is into everything, (whether she should be or not
), has quite a vocabulary and in fact impresses people on a regular basis with just how much she can express herself.

Jason’s Turkey Recipe
By Jason | November 26, 2008
When I found this recipe, I thought it was perfect for people like me, who
just are not sure how to tell when poultry is thoroughly cooked, but not
dried out.
Give this a try.
15 lb.turkey
1 cup melted butter
1 cup stuffing ( Pepperidge Farm is Good.)
1 cup uncooked popcorn (ORVILLE REDENBACHER’S LOW FAT)
Salt/pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.Brush turkey well with melted butter salt,
and pepper. Fill cavity with stuffing and popcorn.
Place in baking pan with the neck end toward the back of the oven.
Listen for the popping sounds. When the turkey’s ass blows the oven door
open and the bird flies across the room, it’s done.
And you thought I didn’t cook..

Help Find A Cure For Cancer!
By Jason | October 6, 2008
Anyone who knows me will know that this is a topic very near and dear to my heart. Cancer is such an awful plague, each day there are more and more people that are discovered having some form of it, there doesn’t seem to be an end in site. For this reason we must continue the fight to find a cure and rid our world of it once and for all!
To help with this, a very good friend of Christa and I is participating in a walk to help raise money for a cure for breast cancer. Help support Sandy in her goal to raise money, she herself was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer and has survived! She has a winning attitude and is determined to beat it. Show your support by sponsoring her in the walk, here.
